Our UCHB fund raiser 2022 annual Hot Wings Eating Contest was a big succes and everyone who participated in the contest and all those cheering them on had a lot of fun. The challenge was sponsored by The Drunken Mullet In Hernando Beach. Congratulations to our winners in the Kid's Challenge, Women's Challenge and the Men's challenge. Our Westside Firefighters won the Eastside/westside firefighter's challenge.

Our Ribbon Cutting for UCHB & Mural Dedication Ceremony was held May 8th, 2021 at the Hernando Beach Coast Guard Station. We had many local residents, county officials, members of the USCGAux, and news reporters at the ceremonies. It was a lovely day and very gratifying to all who worked so hard to make it a success.

Our Valentine Event was a success despite the threat of rain. We held a Golf Cart decorating contest and awarded prizes for the best adult and best kid's costume. There were vendors selling their specialty goods, Valentine flowers to purchase for your sweetheart and t-shirts with the new mural that is to be painted on the Coast Guard building. We collected suitcases for the kids to use for their belongings at New Beginnings Youth Shelter.
